Trinity Baptist Academy began in the hearts of Pastor and Mrs. Giordano many years ago. They desired for the children of Trinity Baptist Church to have a solid Christian education free from the corrupting influence of the world. However, it was not until the fall of 2020 that they were able to see this dream realized. With the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and the subsequent shift to virtual learning by most schools, several members of Trinity Baptist Church were concerned about their children’s educations. In response, Trinity Baptist Academy was formed.
The obvious choice to be the Academy Administrator, was Hannah Swiatkowski. Ms. Hannah has studied at The Crown College of the Bible, Golden State Baptist College, and New England Baptist College. It was at the later where Hannah met her future husband, Matthew Swiatkowski. After graduating in 2012, Hannah returned home and worked at Calvary Baptist School in Dundalk, MD, until she and Matt married in June of 2013. For the next five years, Matt and Hannah served together at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Kearny, NJ. In January of 2019, Matt and Hannah moved to Grand Prairie, TX, to serve the Lord on staff at Trinity Baptist Church.
As the Academy’s Administrator, Ms. Hannah’s mission is clear and decisive; she wants to assist parents in providing their children with an excellent education within a biblical worldview in order to develop a Christ-like, intellectually-equipped, community-focused, and well-versed student. Ms. Hannah also helps the students to discover and use their God-given talents to advance the kingdom of Christ.
After extensive research, Trinity Baptist Academy chose to employ the Abeka ProTeach Master Video Program, an excellent resource for Christian education that has been in operation since 1985. The Abeka curriculum is used by over one million students every year and is proven to help students achieve academic excellence. By offering this type of education to our members, we are providing them a quality, Christian education at an affordable price.
At Trinity Baptist Academy, we seek to educate the whole child–body, soul, and spirit. We combine the academic excellence of a first-rate, well-proven curriculum with a strong biblical foundation in order to give our students the tools they need to succeed in life–God’s way. We are unapologetically biblical in our approach to all learning because we believe that our students’ relationship with God is far more important than what they learn from textbooks. While we do not believe in isolating our students from the world, we do believe that insulating them from unbiblical influences is of vital importance to their spiritual growth. Because we believe so strongly in preserving the Christian integrity of our school, enrollment is open only to our church members who are in good standing with the church body.
