Bro. Ryan was born in Houston, TX, in February of 1996. Growing up in a Christian home, Ryan accepted Jesus Christ as Savior at 12 years old after hearing the Gospel clearly explained to him. Through the support of his parents and through countless opportunities to serve in the local church, Ryan developed a genuine love for the Lord and the ministry. After receiving the call to preach and to serve in full-time ministry at 15, God would lead Ryan to study Pastoral Ministries at Pensacola Christian College where he would meet his future wife, Michelle, in 2014. The two of them would be married in the summer of 2018. Ryan and Michelle have two beautiful children: Abraham (4) and Benjamin (2).
While working on completing his Master of Divinity in Pensacola, FL, Ryan served faithfully as an intern and on staff as an Associate Pastor at a local church in Mobile, Alabama. After receiving the call to preach and to ministry from God, Ryan has served in many areas of youth ministry over the past 9 years such as Christian camps, church internships, and leading a youth group. The Rushing’s have led various ministries such as Nursing Home, Junior Sunday School, Youth Group, Teen Sunday School, Church Media, and Outreach Event Planning.
In early 2023, following God’s leading, Bro. Ryan and his family moved to Grand Prairie, TX, to serve as a full-time Youth Minister here at Trinity Baptist Church. Ryan’s passion in ministry is investing in the lives of teenagers and coming alongside the parents to help equip their teenagers to grow in their walk with Christ.
